In Edmonton alone, the number of children living in poverty is 40,000. Visually, that’s the new Rogers area filled to capacity two and a half times. The Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area (BGCBigs) is a charitable non-profit organization working to provide safe places and positive mentoring relationships for children & youth in our community. Their vision is to insure that all children and youth have enriching experiences growing up and achieve success in life. In their presentation, the presenters will discuss why more people need to get involved and contribute to their community and how you can create change in an impactful way.
